WE VALUE EACH INDIVIDUAL
We are ALL fearfully and wonderfully made according to Jeremiah 29:11. God designed each and every one of us. He knit us together in the womb. We are all unique with our own personalities, gifts, abilities, and even weakness. The bible tells us that it is, as a matter of fact, in our weakness that His strength is displayed.
WE BELIEVE JESUS IS OUR ONLY SOURCE OF TRUE HOPE
When an individual places his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior, he receives a living hope. Each believer in Jesus Christ can live with peace and purpose, knowing he has an internal inheritance that is “imperishable, undefiled and unfading” according to 1 Peter 1:4.
WE BELIEVE EVERYONE HAS A PURPOSE
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. It is in and from a relationship with Jesus
Christ that we are set free and can discover the purpose he has for us. As we discover that purpose, we can make a difference in the lives of the people around us. This is true for absolutely every believer, regardless of age, gender, ability or disability!
WE BELIEVE IN PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE
We believe that with loving and gentle help, guidance and support, many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can achieve independence in living.
WE BELIEVE IN AUTONOMY IN DECISION MAKING WHENEVER POSSIBLE
We believe in offering opportunities without coercing involvement. While we offer incentives to be part of the community and strive to offer community living options that are appealing to all, we understand and respect that individuals feel "at home" and can truly let down their guard and rest when they have a choice.
We hold the belief that Jesus is our ultimate source of true hope. However, it's important to note that we do not impose our beliefs on others. All individuals, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds, are welcome among us. Our primary focus is on treating everyone with the love and compassion exemplified by Jesus himself. We strive to embody the heart of Jesus in our interactions with others, extending kindness and understanding to all.
